CS:GO has been plagued with issues regarding cheating in the past, and even in the professional circuit the game isn’t immune from it, where a professional was actually caught cheating during a live tournament. Instead it seems that players are upset with the influx of new players which some believe will lead to an increase in cheating. From what we gather, it isn’t so much that players are upset that a game that they paid for is now free. The game is now being reviewed bombed on Steam where over 25,000 players have since left negative reviews following Valve’s decision. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem that many CS:GO players believe that is the case. The game was never particularly expensive but we suppose by removing the cost of the game, it would open it up to more gamers, which is a good thing, right?
